Interview:
​
Contestants meet with our panel of judges and will be asked questions pertaining to family, school, personal values, community service, and future goals. All contestants are judged on their personality, communication skills and contribution to their community.

Photogenic:
​
Prior to the competition, contestants will have Headshots taken at the Rehearsals. These headshots will be judged on clarity, composition, eyes, smile and age appropriateness. This photo is meant to showcase the lady!

​
Fun Fashion:
​
This portion of the competition is where the contestants personality will shine on stage! Each lady is asked to choose an outfit that depicts her personal style. Depending on the Pageant's Theme, the Fun Fashion Category may have a set of specific guidelines for each contestant to follow.

Onstage Introduction:
​
During the pageant, the ladies will introduce themselves on the microphone to the judges and audience. This introduction will be timed and should include a brief description of her platform and why she chose it!

Gown:
​
Evening Gown is the most beautiful and graceful portion of the competition. Contestants wear a gown of their choosing, and are judged on poise, grace, confidence on stage and overall appearance. Judges will be looking for her overall “wow” factor.
Rehearsals:
Prior to Pageant Day, West Coast Pageants will be holding Rehearsals to prepare each Contestant. Here, Contestants will learn their Modeling Routines, Onstage Introduction, Interview Skills, and their Opening Number Dance. These Rehearsals are MANDATORY. Points will be awarded for every Rehearsal you attend. This will affect your final score in the Pageant. If you already have a pre-existing conflict with any dates, please let us know far in advance, so we may clear you.
